Overview
For this project I created a training plan for myself, my mom, and my older brother to run in a race. I took into account the ages, and the physical capabilities of us all to create an accurate workout plan to help all of us to do well in the race and meet the goal that we set at the beginning of the race. I also created a list of foods that we could eat at the beginning of the workout to help give us adequate energy as well as after the workout to replenish what we lost during the workouts. I checked in with both my mom and my brother each week to see how the training plans and nutrition was going for each of them.We would discuss if they felt like they could push themselves more or if they needed more food after. This was really helpful to so I could go back and add things to their training schedule or give them other suggestions for foods that would give them more energy before or after the run. It also gave me the chance to help keep them motivated to keep working out and reach a goal.
